This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All warning letters, cease and desist notices, or fines issued to educational institutions, referencing drones or unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, I hereby request that the FAA recognize my status as a media requester to reflect that I am submitting the present request in my capacity as a journalist working on a story for publication.

This message is in reference to your FOIA Request 2015-006388 dated March 30, 2015 requesting "All warning letters, cease and desist notices, or fines issued to educational institutions, referencing drones or unmanned aerial vehicles."

Your case has been assigned to our office for processing. We sincerely apologize for the delay; we are in the process of compiling the documentation that you are requesting. Due to the nature of your inquiry and to make sure that we provide you with all the information that you are requesting, we need to negotiate with you an extension of 10 days (weekday) from June 22, 2015. If you agree to the extension, the new due date for your case will be July 06, 2015. We will need this additional time to complete the processing of your request.
