From: Hannah Gais
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any civil penalty case information for unruly passenger violations of regulations 14 CFR 91.11, 121.580, 135.120, 125.328, 49 USC 46318 and 46504 involving Nick Fuentes (alternative spellings could include: Nicholas J. Fuentes, Nick J. Fuentes, or Nicholas Fuentes) regarding incidents that took place between December 1, 2020, to May 1, 2021. These incident(s) likely would've taken place on flights to or from Chicago area airports (Midway, O'Hare).
Fuentes is a white nationalist streamer who has attended a number of "Stop the Steal" events throughout December and January. Recently, he has claimed on multiple platforms that he has had difficulty and/or it's been impossible to book a flight on commercial airlines. In December of 2020, Fuentes posted on Twitter about having been kicked off a flight from Chicago to Pennsylvania for not wearing his mask properly (see attached screenshot). He has also talked about this incident on his show "America First" as well.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Hannah Gais
