To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any lists or spreadsheets of the state and local law enforcement agencies that participate in the Equitable Sharing Program.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
FOIA requests to the Department of Justice must be filed according to the procedures outlined on the DOJ's website. I cannot provide you with the requested information at this time.
I believe I have done so, I have read the DOJ requirements and I have described the records I would like, and as I understand it, I am allowed to send requests electronically. If I am misunderstanding something, please advise.
Reporter at MuckRock
FOIA requests must be submitted to the FOIA unit at DOJ. I cannot process an incoming FOIA request. If you have previously submitted something to the FOIA unit, then you will need to follow-up with that unit to determine its status.
