EPA-NASCAR partnership document

Dear Tom Nash:

I am responding to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that
was submitted on May 23, 2012 and was assigned the FOIA tracking number
"HQ-FOI-01382-12".

You requested a copy of the memorandum of understanding between NASCAR
and EPA in addition to any draft proposals on what programs will be
established under the MOU.

I have attached a copy of the signed MOU to this email. EPA has posted
this MOU on our website at: http://www.epa.gov/p2/pubs/nascarmou.html

At this time there are no other draft proposals or partnership
agreements with NASCAR. The MOU reflects the current status of our
partnership.

Please send a reply email informing me that you are satisfied with this
response to your FOIA request. This will allow me to formally close our
file on this FOIA.

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby
request the following records:

A copy of the memorandum of understanding between NASCAR and the EPA
regarding its partnership program, in addition to any draft proposals on
what programs will be established under the partnership.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this
request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made
available to the general public free of charge as part of the public
information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of
the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and
not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you
would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my
request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail
attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I
look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20
