This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all EPA correspondence regarding the Capitol Power Plant generated or received between Jan. 1, 2112 and the date that this request is processing.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Morisy you sent a request to the EPA regarding correspondence between the Capitol Power Plant. Is there any particular area in the EPA that you are requesting correspondence from? For instance is this an Air issues, Water issue, Pesticide issue? I need more specifics so the request can be assigned to the appropriate office. I'm thinking the Office of Air and Radiation because of the company being named "Capitol Power Plant". Please let me know what other information you can provide so your request will be processed properly.

Thanks again for your help on the phone in clarifying and narrowing this request.
For permitting related materials, I would like narrow this request to external communications between your EPA office and the Architect of the Capitol's office.
You also mentioned that you would be able to send a link to a database of enforcement actions, and possibly action ID numbers to search this database.

I am writing to ascertain whether your organization is still interested in receiving documents in response to your FOIA request of August 12, 2013 (EPA FOIA number EPA-R3-2013-009030) seeking correspondence generated or received after January 1, 2012 concerning the Capitol Power Plant. It appears that the Agency must send your organization a request for prepayment of FOIA fees based on our preliminary estimate of the cost of responding to the FOIA. However, if you are no longer interested in a response to this specific FOIA, we would like to remove it from our FOIA tracking system. Please know that the withdrawal of this specific FOIA would not prevent your organization from re-filing the same or similar FOIA request should you again become interested in this matter.
