Mr. Waltman

Please be advised that a preliminary review of our records indicates the terms identified in your email may be associated with the ongoing proceeding regarding Rover Pipeline, CP15-93. Staff experts also indicate that FERC has no role in siting regarding Dakota Access, FERC only has authority to approve initial rates regarding this matter. Initial rates were approved in docket OR14-42 for Dakota Access. Other docket regarding Dakota Access are IS17-211 and IS17-212. Therefore, we kindly ask that you consider narrowing the scope of your request to docket numbers CP15-93, OR42-42, IS17-211 and IS17-212. This will allow us to conduct a more focused search of specific FERC staff members that may have material of interest to you between the dates of April 2016 to present.

If an you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the FOIA/CEII Service Center at foia-ceii@ferc.gov or contact me directly at (202) 502-8389.
