Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all records held by the United States Secret Service related to investigations into the rapper Marshall Bruce Mathers III (DOB: October 17, 1972), also known as “Eminem.”
Mathers was investigated by the USSS in 2003 for writing lyrics that potentially threatened the president:

This request seeks all documents created in the course of the 2003 probe, as well as any subsequent investigations into Mathers.
Please note that I am submitting this request under the Freedom of Information Act only. I am NOT submitting this request under the Privacy Act. Please redact or withhold any records or information whose release would require a Privacy Act waiver.
For the purpose of assessing fees, please note that I am submitting this request in my capacity as a full-time journalist at Insider, Inc. in New York City.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
