This request is being made as part of a journalistic investigation. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Afternoon Beryl C.D. Lipton,
The program manager assigned to gather the information you requested has provided a status update. Since you requested information for the last 15 years, the program manager will need to request an estimated 15-18 boxes from NARA (Archive Center) to gather 55 grants and related materials. Upon receipt of the boxes from archive a admin specialist will have to go through all the boxes and pull the appropriate folders to start the duplication process by converting them from hardcopy to softcopy per your request. A total of 2200 pages will have to be duplicated in to an electronic format.
Due to the large request for information and time it will take to gather and duplicate; it has been identified that this process will take additional time to meet your request.
The following extension date has been provided: October 23, 2015
