Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The e-mail messages to or from any EOIR employee which use the phrase "Dummy Date" or "Dummy Dates" between 3/5/19 and 4/5/19.
I am a member of the news member and request classification as such.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This request, as written, is overbroad. We cannot perform a "reasonable search" of every employee's files, nor is there an identifiable public interest in doing so, as it is unlikely most EOIR employees would have responsive records. We need to be able to identify those custodians most likely to have the records requested.
If you are willing to scope to the ACIJs, I can attempt to perform a "reasonable search" of those files. This has worked well for other requests.
If I do not hear from you within 30 days, I will assume you no longer need this information, and close your case administratively.
