Your request has been issued FOIA control number 2019-29906

Matthew,

This request, as written, is overbroad. We cannot perform a "reasonable search" of every employee's files, nor is there an identifiable public interest in doing so, as it is unlikely most EOIR employees would have responsive records. We need to be able to identify those custodians most likely to have the records requested.

If you are willing to scope to the ACIJs, I can attempt to perform a "reasonable search" of those files. This has worked well for other requests.

If I do not hear from you within 30 days, I will assume you no longer need this information, and close your case administratively.

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, please limit the search to the current ACIJs. Thank you.

Thank you Matthew, we will move forward on both requests. Wr/JRS
