This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
The FOIA training materials announced by DOJ OIP in March 2015 via an announcement posted to the DOJ OIP blog:
"An in-depth e-Learning training module specifically designed for FOIA professionals which addresses all the major procedural and substantive requirements of the law, as well as the importance of customer service;
A separate e-Learning training module for the everyday federal employee that provides a primer on the FOIA and highlights ways in which they can assist their agency in administering the law; and
An infographic that can serve as a resource on FOIA basics for all employees new to the federal workforce."
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
I furthermore request a fee waiver and media requester status on the basis of my work as a journalist who has covered FOIA, transparency and the Department of Justice extensively. Here is a selection of articles I have published on MuckRock as well as in national media outlets:
