To Whom It May Concern:
This is an appeal of rejection of FOIA 14-OIG-79, in which I requested the final reports from a number of closed investigations. The wholesale rejection of this request by DOJ OIG FOIA staff is inappropriate, as portions of the requested reports are reasonably segregable so as to protect the privacy of individuals involved in the investigation reports requested.
For this and any other reasons deemed applicable by the appeals authority, I request that this FOIA be remanded for further processing and release of the requested reports.
Respectfully,
Shawn Musgrave
