This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the following report: "Substantiated Reprisal Against a U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant for Making Protected Disclosures."
Per the "DoD IG Monthly Update - October 2015" email sent on October 1, 2015:
"This investigation determined that a Joint Staff Army colonel and lieutenant colonel reprised against a Joint Staff Air Force master sergeant by giving him an adverse enlisted performance evaluation that lowered his points toward promotion, and also did not submit it in time for him to be eligible during his promotion cycle. The Army colonel and lieutenant colonel took the action in reprisal for the Air Force member reporting to members in his chain of command and the Joint Staff Inspector General that the Army lieutenant colonel had made inappropriate sexual contact with a contractor employee. The DoD IG recommended the Secretary of the Army take corrective action against the colonel and lieutenant colonel, and the Secretary of the Air Force take appropriate action to remedy complainant’s records and allow him the opportunity to compete for promotion in a supplemental promotion board."
