Christopher Tidmarsh,
Good afternoon, we are continuing to search for records responsive to your request. With regard to this current request it requires a search of officials in the Office of the Attorney General. Given our current work constraints and the eDiscovery backlog, our records search is currently estimated to take 6-8 months to complete.
This estimation is in part due to the number of eDiscovery requests in our backlog as opposed to any specific issue with the nature of your request. As this is an estimate, it is subject to change and if completed before we will work to respond as soon as possible.
Thank you,

Monique Hill

Christopher Tidmarsh:

Good afternoon, by email communication on October 18, 2020, Monique Hill of this Office estimated six to eight months to complete the search for your request. Accordingly, I need to extend this estimation for an additional three to four months to complete our search for potentially responsive records. Please be advised, this is an estimation and subject to change; however, if we can respond sooner, we will do so. While I understand the passage of time since this request was submitted, my updated estimate is based on our backlog of ediscovery cases. Once this Office completes the search, we will review potentially responsive records. We will do so utilizing our ediscovery search platform that allows for more dynamic processing of the records. Upon completion of the search, we can provide an estimated date of completion. Unless advised otherwise by you, we will continue our records search. Should you wish to discuss your request scope or have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact this Office.

Thank you,

Hello,

Thank you for letting me know. I will look forward to receiving the records from you when you are able to provide them.

But just so you know, in the meantime, you may receive automated emails from Muckrock[dot]com on my behalf asking about the progress of my FOIA request. I believe they are sent roughly once per month to federal agencies I am waiting for a response from for my FOIA requests.

Thank you so much for your help.

Sincerely,

Christopher Tidmarsh
