Hi Andrew,

I am reaching out regarding your request for reports of significant FOIA activity received from all DHS component FOIA office by the DHS Privacy Office in April of 2022. The DHS Privacy Office received this request on May 23, 2022 and assigned it the tracking number 2022-HQFO-01117.

I would like to ask you to consider modifying your request to ask for the weekly significant FOIA request activity report compiled by the DJS Privacy Office. This compiled report includes all of the submissions that would be covered by your original request, and would include requests submitted to and processed by the DHS Privacy Office. In addition to providing you with a more complete picture of DHS FOIA activity, it should be more efficient for the Privacy Office to process the compiled reports (the submissions are sent via email, so would likely include personally identifiable information and are not saved in a central location).

I am happy to discuss this further with you if you have any questions. I appreciate in advance your willingness to consider this suggested modification. Please confirm if you accept the suggested modification to your request.
Thanks,

Amy
