Communications

From: Nathan Lawrence

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all communications, drafts, or preparatory materials related to the letter sent by Special Agent Joshua H. Henry on June 29, 2022 advising Madeline Walker of Garland, TX that further tweets against US government officials would be a violation of 18 USC § 115.

Please note that your agent has already confirmed these communications were official and matters of public record to The Dallas Morning News: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2022/07/01/feds-show-up-at-home-of-north-texas-woman-who-posted-angry-tweets-after-roe-decision/

This request includes materials prepared both before and after Special Agent Henry’s letter — I am also requesting, for example, communications about the aforementioned article from the Dallas Morning News.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Nathan Lawrence
