Mr. Swartz,

In an effort to fully process your request, can you please provide me with the contract number. Without the contract number we can't do anything with it and it will just be an improper request, thank you.

Attention: Mr. Aaron Swartz,

We are trying to get the information you are requesting but we need you to be more specific as to exactly the information you are requesting.

In your original request, you asked for "any records relating to so-called personal management software, for example, that described in the Air Force solicitation RTB220610, including specifications, use scenarios, and existing techniques for filling these objectives."

We could not identify the solicitation number and asked you to provide the contract number.

You replied and asked us to "include anything on solicitation IDs FA4814-10-T-0004 and RTB220610 as well as procurement instrument ID FA4814-10-C-0015 (transaction ID 47503572)."

Please be more specific with your request. If we start trying to collect "any records relating to" or "anything on" your request will significantly exceed the amount you are willing to pay ($15). Additionally, the info requested in your original request and your e-mail reply are very different.

Please clarify exactly what information in the government's records you are requesting.

Mr. Aaron Swartz,

On 21 Mar 11, we sent you the below e-mail requesting you narrow your search because the scope is too broad and will significantly exceed your willingness to pay amount of $15. As of this date, we have yet to hear back from you.

If we do not hear back from you by 15 Apr 11, we will close this request and you need to make a new request for this information.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Pritchard:

Since my first request, I asked you for information on persona management software. At first I provided an Air Force solicitation ID (RTB220610) that I obtained from FedBizOpps. For some reason you couldn't identify that, so I provided the IDs from USASpending.gov (solicitation ID FA4814-10-T-0004, procurement instrument ID FA4814-10-C-0015/transaction ID 47503572). I hope that this is sufficiently clear.

I'd like to request any proposals submitted, including the winning proposal, any correspondence with the winning contractor, anything documents delivered by the contractor in fulfillment of the contract, and any documents about use or planned use of the tools requested in the contract.

I'm willing to pay up to $1000 and possibly more if necessary.

Attention: Mr. Aaron Swartz,

Due to the time frame in which we received your response for the clarification of the request, I am going to have to close your original request and ask that you resubmit it. I just found out that we are only allowed to give you 10 days to respond once we put a FOIA on hold for clarification. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. Sorry for the inconvenience and we will try our best to process your new request in a timely manner, thank you.
