All communications and documents in your possession, of any type whatsoever, regarding the travel expenditures of all agency political appointees confirmed by the Senate from January 20, 2017 to present
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Attached, please find a letter acknowledging the Department's receipt of your FOIA request 18-FI-HQ-01135. This request relates to travel expenditures of all agency political appointees confirmed by the Senate.
While we can search for documents pertaining to travel expenditures of political appointees, in order to search for "communications" we will need to know whose communications you are seeking. We can run a search for email records if given the names of any HUD custodians, but cannot run a search agency wide for any type of communication whatsoever. Please provide the names of any HUD employees whose communications you are interested in, and I can have a search submitted for responsive records.
