Date of death: January 4, 2021
Nationality: Jamaica
Related companies and position: Sandals Resorts International (founder, chairman); Air Jamaica (investor)

The death of Gordon "Butch" Stewart has been widely reported; please see attached PDF. As the subject is deceased, privacy interests under the Privacy Act and exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act are diminished.

"DEA Records" include records within the following systems of records (not exclusively): Automated Intelligence Records System (Pathfinder); Investigative Reporting and Filing System (IRFS); Grants of Confidentiality Files (GCF); Operations Files; Registration Status-Investigation Records; and Security Files.

Please provide the results of a search query of the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Information System (NADDIS) pointer index for Investigative Reporting and Filing System records, using the below subject's name and accompanying identifying information:

Please also provide any DEA Form 6 naming or pertaining to Stewart or his pertaining to his properties (Sandals Resorts International and its subsidiaries Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, Fowl Cay Resort; and Air Jamaica for the years between 1994 and 2004).

If any potentially responsive records have been destroyed and/or transferred to NARA, then I request copies of the destruction or transfer slips as well as any other documentation relating to, mentioning or describing said transfer or destruction, to include but not be limited to confirmation that the Bureau has no other copies of said records.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
