This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. Regarding any and all research, study or analysis conducted on kratom (including, but not limited to, mitragynine speciosa and 7-hydroxy mitragynine speciosa), I hereby request you produce a copy of all materials and reports including any and all information communicated to the FDA, DEA or NIH regarding same.
Please also provide a copy of any and all materials relating to any 3-factor or 8-factor analysis on kratom (including, but not limited to, mitragynine speciosa and 7-hydroxy mitragynine speciosa). I am also requesting a copy of any 3-factor or 8-factor analysis conducted by the DEA that represents separate work from NIDA and FDA’s submissions.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
