To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
I am seeking the Eight Factor Analysis submitted by the Botanical Education Alliance (or by their lawyers ) to the DEA, which was purportedly submitted in direct response to the public comment period following the DEA's notice of intent to schedule mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
As a professional member of the media (credentials available upon request), I would request that fees be waived. However, in the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
anthony roberts
