DEA: All communications regarding Kratom with The Natural Products Association

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking all communications between the DEA and The Natural Products Association (inclusive of Dr. Daniel Fabricant and all of their other officers and agents), concerning kratom (aka Mitragyna speciosa). This should include emails, notes, records and minutes of meetings, interviews, and memorandum of interviews.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. As a professional member of the media, I would ask that any fees be waived.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
