Greetings,
DIA typically processes requests in the order of receipt; our backlog currently is in excess of 1,800 requests. The time it takes to respond to a request will vary depending on the complexity of the request and the backlog of requests already pending. All parties should remember that that an estimated completion date is only an estimate based on the available information at the time of making the estimate. Estimated completion dates are subject to change.
Warm Regards,

Dear Emily Crose,
This response is in regards to your FOIA request FOIA-00343-2019 made to the Defense Intelligence Agency. You asked for:
"Any known materials related to cybersecurity breaches including any investigative materials which may have been collected between the years of 1991 and September of 2019."
Your request is overly broad. We would ask that you be more specific about the types of cybersecurity breaches to narrow down our search and response for quicker resolution. In particular, your time frame of near 30 years is too long. A smaller duration would help us immensely.
Other clarifying information that could help us includes:
1. Who was the target?
2. Who was the attacker?
3. What data was damaged?
Please refer to your case # FOIA-00343-2019 in all future correspondence.
With Warm Regards,
