Dear Mr. Craven,

On October 20, 2017, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Service received your electronic FOIA request seeking:

"All email correspondence between VA officials and officials at the Concerned Veterans For America with email addresses ending in "@cv4a.org" between Jan. 20 and present day."
Your request has been assigned tracking number 18-01467-F. Please refer to this number when contacting the VA regarding your request.

Further clarification is needed before we can process your request. According to our regulations, a request for records "must contain a reasonable description of the records desired so that it may be located with relative ease." Per 38 CFR, 1.554(d), the requester's description of the records sought needs to describe such records in enough detail to allow VA FOIA Officers to locate them with a "reasonable amount of effort." To the extent possible, the requester should include specific information about each record sought, such as the date, title or name, author, recipient and subject matter. Wide ranging requests that lack specificity or contain descriptions of very general subject matters with no description of specific records may be considered "not reasonably described."

In order to complete your request, we are seeking clarification concerning the scope of the search for records. You stated you are seeking all email correspondence between "VA officials..." Please identify what "VA officials" you are interested in, and, the VA office, if known. To ensure that VA conducts a thorough and efficient records search, please narrow the scope of the search of your request as requested.

Please contact us within 30 business days of the date of this communication or we will conclude that you are no longer interested in pursuing this
request and will close our file.

Please do not hesitate in contacting me if you have any questions about this email.

And yes, January 20, 2018, until present.

The search terms should include, but are not limited to, "trump" "koch" "accountability" "privatize" "shulkin" "selnick" "VA"
Your request was assigned to multiple offices. However, this email is pertaining to the Executive in Charge, Office of Information and Technology (18-03943-F).

Would you be will be remove "VA" as one of your search terms?

Please respond back within 10 calendar days.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
