FOIA APPEAL
Dear Appeals Authority for the FBI,
This is an appeal under the Freedom of Information Act.
On January 12, 2014, I made multiple unrelated FOIA requests to the FBI. Each request was on a different topic, and requested the most recent 100 emails from an FBI email account. The FBI consolidated all of these requests into one request and billed accordingly. I appeal. Please process each request separately or waive fees incurred due to the consolidation of my requests.
Thank you.
Regards,
Jason Smathers
