This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Any and all costs related to the the air carriage of the September bipartisan delegation to Afghanistan which included Under Secretary of the Army Brad Carson, Governor Andrew Cuomo (New York), Governor William E. Haslam (Tennessee), Governor Jeremiah W. Nixon (Missouri), Governor Brian E. Sandoval (Nevada), and other Department of Defense officials.

Costs include, airfare to D.C., Germany, Afghanistan and back; transportation around D.C., Germany, and Afghanistan.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Good Morning Mr. Conor Skelding. This is a follow-up email from my 9 August
acknowledgement of your faxed request. This emails is to let you know that
the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller
has reviewed your request and they do possess handle congressional travel
for the Under Secretary of the Army nor would they have any knowledge any of
the costs for the mentioned Governors of New York, Tennessee, Missouri,
Nevada and State Officials who traveled with him in September. The ASA
(FM&C) Budget Congressional Office suggested that you send your request to
the Office of the Chief, Arm Legislative Liaison (OCLL), office to see if
they can assist you with this congressional inquiry. Thank you.
