Greetings NNSA FOIA official,

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request copies of these two LANL intranet pages:

1. http://int.lanl.gov/services/communicating/special-collections/index.shtml

2. http://int.lanl.gov/org/ddw/aldx/wrs/index.shtml

Should the above URLs redirect an authorized and logged in user to a page at a different URL, I request those pages. I request that something like a "Print as PDF" mechanism be used to reproduce the view an authorized and logged in person viewing the sites in an internet browser would see. If you can do so readily, and the pages support doing so, I also request an HTML copy with graphics and links intact, such as many browsers can create with the “Save Page As” menu option.

For reference, these two URLs come from links on this public site: https://www.lanl.gov/library/find/reports/index.php .

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

I am willing to pay all applicable fees, however should applicable fees exceed $50 I would ask that you inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this matter.

Sincerely,

Joseph Durso

Hello,
Please see the attached acknowledgement letter for case # FOIA 20-00085-AG.
Thank you,

From: Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration

Good morning,

As of now, your request is out for search with the field office. The field office will conduct a thorough search for records and then get back to our office on what was located in the search. After this, our office reviews the documents and prepares the final response to you.

Due to the current events surrounding COVID-19, the agency is working with an extremely limited staff. Field offices, laboratories, and other program offices are performing mission critical work on an extremely reduced workforce. Furthermore, many of our records are located off site and require in person handling. Therefore, our FOIA process will be severely delayed and you may experience a longer delay in the processing of your request. We thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times.

As soon as we receive a response from the site office, I will certainly work towards processing your request as quickly as is possible. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you,

From: Joseph Durso

Thank you for the update. At this point I’m not expecting any response until the situation has stabilized. In the the meantime I wish you and everyone there there the best of health.

Thanks,

Joseph Durso
