From: Alejandro Ramirez

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of all contracts between your agency and BCFS, a nonprofit based in San Antonio, TX (their website is bcfs.net) from fiscal years 2013 to 2019. Should you have trouble distinguishing BCFS from an organization with a similar name or acronym, the organization has also used the names BCFS Health and Human Services and Baptist Child and Family Services of San Antonio.

BCFS's government contracts were mentioned in this Bloomberg article: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-06-25/wayfair-faces-worker-outrage-on-sales-to-border-camp-contractors.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. I am a member of the press, specifically an associate editor at Nashville Scene, and the responsive documents would also be made available on the website MuckRock.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Alejandro Ramirez
