This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any DOJ complaints filed with the Civil Rights Divisions alleging violations based on religious discrimination that was received from members, clergy, parishioners, practitioners, employees, executives, agents or other supportive representatives of the Church of Scientology. The search for responsive documents should include anything dated from 1967 up until the date this request is processed, and span all primary record systems in addition to any applicable cross reference file systems.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest due to the unique aspects of the Church of Scientology's controversial tax exemption and the undetermined reasons behind why special tax privileges were granted to this organization. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

There seems to be an error in the responsive documents sent back to me under FOI/PA No. 15-00094-F for Church of Scientology civil rights complaints.
The last few pages are for File No. 208-12C-16 circa 1998, and is related to "Church of Christ Scientist" rather than "Church of Scientology. Please check your processing notes on this request to ensure that I wasn't accidentally sent the wrong pages in lieu of a file that correctly references the right organization.
