This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All Complaint Tracking System (CTS) reports compiled during the 2013 calendar year that analyze the below-mentioned categories.
According to the Department of Homeland Security's June 29, 2009 Privacy Impact Assessment for CTS, the system "has customized reporting features built into the system. These reports allow the Privacy Office to report on the number of privacy complaints, the categories of complaints, and the disposition of complaints. Reports will also include the component from which the complaint originated."
I also request that all fees be waived as I am a journalist -- employed by MuckRock and the Boston Globe -- and intend to use any pertinent information I receive as a result of this request to educate the public.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your prompt reply to my FOIA request, 2014-HQFO-00440.
I am writing to appeal your decision to deny my request for a fee waiver as a member of the news media.
You write in your April 22 letter that I "have not presented a convincing argument that MuckRock News is entitled to a blanket waiver of applicable fees."
In fact, I have presented no argument that MuckRock News is entitled to a blanked waiver. I apologize for not further clarifying in my original request, but I am a journalist employed by MuckRock and the Boston Globe. Below are a sampling of recent articles I've written:
