Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All communications and reports, including but not limited to emails and memos, pertaining to the possible foreign military sale of 15 Phalanx conversion kits to Japan, per this announcement from DSCA: http://dsca.mil/major-arms-sales/japan-mk-15-phalanx-close-weapon-system-ciws-block-ib-baseline-2-conversion-kits
To aid in processing this request, you may limit the search for records within OSD to the office of ASD (APSA) and to the time period from September 2017 to present.
I am a member of the news media. The requested documents will be made available to the general public in this course of reporting, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
