Attached is the Acknowledgement of receipt of your FOIA request which has been sent to the Bureau of Prisons for processing. In your request, you ask for all correspondence between the Department of Justice and various individuals representing the Geo Group. Is there a particular time frame or certain years you want searched for the records you request? Also, do you plan to merely provide the records to the public, or will the records be analyzed as part of a story?
If you would like to provide your phone number, I can call you to clarify, and possibly narrow, your request in an effort to best obtain the records you are wanting.
Thanks much for your note—I'm at 323-363-7813 --please call for any questions or to clarify anything.
I plan to analyze these records for a news story.
Could you please provide the requested correspondence for the past five years?
Thanks again --Robin
