This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
- Any memos by former FBI Director James Comey detailing conversations and meetings with President Trump. The New York Times reported on May 16 that Comey wrote a memo detailing a conversation with Trump that occurred in February, and that he wrote multiple memos tracking his interactions with the president: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/16/us/politics/james-comey-trump-flynn-russia-investigation.html
I therefore request all memoranda created by Comey documenting his interactions with the president from Jan. 1, 2017 until May 9, 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. Requestor is a full-time journalist at Reason Magazine.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
