This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

1) a list of cloud computing providers investigated under Section 5 of the FTC Act regarding security practices for mobile access to cloud computing services in the years 2013, 2014 and 2015, and

2) any related investigatory records, include commercial or financial information submitted by businesses, inter and intra-agency memoranda and letters, attorney opinions and notes, and decisions or orders regarding investigations and adjudicative proceedings.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by representatives of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
I myself am an independent journalist and have covered technology for sites including ReadWrite, Dice, TakePart, TECHdotMN, Slate, and more.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

If you choose to deny this request, please provide a written explanation for the denial including a reference to the specific statutory exemption(s) upon which you rely. Also, please provide all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. Should you need to discuss this request, I can be reached at (715) 456-4273.
