Clinton Library: Photographs of December 1st 1999 Seattle visit.

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Any photographs taken by White House photographers of President Clinton during his visit to Seattle on December 1st 1999. This visit came the day after the opening of the WTO ministerial meeting and the subsequent protests.

Specifically, I would like to see the release of any photographs from that day, documenting Clinton's movements and various public and private events. His schedule that day included an early morning arrival at Boeing Field to a meeting with Eastern Washington farmers to a speech addressing the WTO.

Next year will be the 15th anniversary of the WTO meeting in Seattle. The release of these photographs (if any exist) will benefit the historical understanding of this event. The events of this meeting are still a frequent and lively topic of conversation among the residents of the city of Seattle.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
