To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am looking for all documents regarding my father, Alfred Clark Andrews, who went by the name of Clark Andrews. He was an important figure in Armed Forces Radio in the Pacific Theatre during WW11, and was also stationed in China (Shanghai) and had close acquaintance with the Sun Yet Sen family. He was invested by various Federal agencies upon returning to the US. His military records seem to have been destroyed in the famous St. Louis fire. I am searching for documentation of any kind regarding of both his civilian and military life. His Army (Air Corps) serial number was 39530978. Date of birth 11/21/1908. Entered the military on 08/14/1942 out of Los Angeles, en route to Fort MacArthur. Heft the armed forces in 1947 having attained the rank of Major. It is strongly believed that he was OSS and continued to be an intelligence officer longer than the Office was officially formed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

CANDACE ANDREWS DOLLAHITE
