Dear Mr. Skelding :

This is in response to your September 26, 2014, Freedom of Information Act request, a copy of which is attached for your convenience. We received your request on October 17, 2016 and assigned your request case number 17-F-0085 for tracking purposes.

We have been reviewing the approximately 2200 open FOIA requests in our backlog and found that your FOIA request has not yet been processed to completion. We apologize for the delay in completing your request.

The reason for this letter is to ask if you still wish to have our office process your request. We ask that you respond within 30 days of the dating of this letter with a willingness to continue processing.

If we do not receive a response we will assume that due to the time that has transpired you are no longer pursuing the request and we will administratively close your request in this Office with no assessable fees. I apologize for the inadvertent delay in responding to your request and also for not advising you sooner of this situation.

Please contact Cheryl Jenkins at (540) 372-0445 or cheryl.d.jenkins2.civ@mail.mil for any assistance.
