This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any and all documents relating to the practice of circumcision on newborn infant males. Please include any reports, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, memoranda, studies, directives, press releases, academic publications, presentation notes, and communications, including any internal emails containing the word "circumcision".
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

However, we have been conducting the search since the day we received the request. All appropriate offices have been search except one because the primary contact for that office on this subject has been out of the office. Good morning Mr. Jones,
I just sent our final response to you indicating that no records were found in response to your request for infant male circumcision. However, I missed an email from one of our offices that did find two extramural grants that were funded by NICHD. If you are interested in obtaining copies of those grant applications/progress reports, I will open a new case and process them as quickly as I can. The grants will need to be cleared through the Primary Investigators before the grants can be released.
Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.
