This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Records concerning the death of Christopher McCandless, found off the Stampede Trail on the border of Denali National Park. This includes investigatory files, interviews, photos, and any other documents that were involved in his bodies' discovery and removal from the back country, and the investigation into how he got there and how he died.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is a follow up to my request which has been assigned FOIPA number 1379438-000. RE proof of death on Chris McCandless, as Christopher McCandless's death was wide public knowledge, including a best selling book by John Krakauer, Into the Wild, which was also later made into a movie, I do not feel I need to submit a proof of death. McCandless was born February 12th 1986 and died in August of 1992.
