Chris Kyle Military Record

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

The Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) including all Fitness Report and Counseling forms (NAVPERS Form 1610/2), the most recent Cumulative Record Of Training (NAVPERS Form 5300/16), the Background Summary (NAVPERS Form 1640/32), Officer Personnel Action Requests (NAVPERS Form 1301/85) and Form DD-214, for "American Sniper" Christopher Scott "Chris" Kyle.

Kyle was a public figure, and proof of death is not necessary as his passing was reported by the news media:

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
