From: Freedom of Information Act

Mr. Scantling,

USCENTCOM received two requests, one under the Mandatory Declassification
Review (MDR) Program and one under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
Program, for information which addressed similar records (see attached).

In accordance with 32 CFR 2001.33, if a request is filed under the MDR and
FOIA programs, the requester should select the program he/she desires. If you
decide you still desire the information under both programs, USCENTCOM is
authorized to process your request under the FOIA.

Our desire is for you to select the program you prefer instead of USCENTCOM
choosing a program on your behalf.

You can email your preference or contact the USCENTCOM FOIA Requester Service
Center, (813)529-6285 to discuss and/or address any questions you may have.

Thank you, FOIA Requester Service Center
