To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The most recent copy of the military's specifications for brownies, formerly designated as MIL-C-44072C.

According to 2010 coverage of MIL-C-44072C by NPR (https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=127058298):

"The Pentagon actually updated its official brownie specifications recently. The new document has been streamlined and expanded to cover things like lemon poppy seed cake and chocolate banana nut muffin tops. The length? 31 pages."

I am seeking that updated document, as well as any more recently updated versions.

I am a member of the news media and request classification as such. I have previously written about the government and its activities. I have a reasonable expectation of publication and my editorial and writing skills are well established.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

JPat Brown

Good Morning,

I apologize, but I am not the Natick Solider System Center FOIA officer or the NSRDEC (CCDC-SC)'s officer. I only process requests specifically for Natick Contracting Division and the attached request looks like it does not fall under our purview.
