This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton over the past 5 years.
Any final reports generated and delivered by Booz Allen Hamilton to the agency over the past 5 years
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is in response to your March 12, 2013, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for information concerning contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton. Your request was received on March 13, 2013, and assigned FOIA No. 2013-REE-02413-F.
Specifically, you requested:
Copies of contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton over the past 5 years. Any final reports generated and delivered by Booz Allen Hamilton to the agency over the past 5 years.
In the past five years, the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) awarded two Delivery Orders to Booz Allen Hamilton. Enclosed is Delivery Order No. AG-3K06-D-07-0125 and two Modifications issued by ARS to Booz Allen Hamilton. The hourly rates have been redacted from the delivery order and one modification and are exempt from disclosure pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552(b)(4). Exemption 4 protects trade secrets and commercial or financial information obtained from an individual and privileged or confidential. Our records indicate that Delivery Order No. AG-3K06-D-09-0222 was issued to Booz Allen in 2009. The period of performance has ended and the records were forwarded to records management for storage. ARS contacted records management to retrieve the file; however, the records could not be located. A total of 30 pages are being released to you in full; 3 pages have been redacted.
You have a right to appeal our determination by writing to the Administrator, ARS, USDA, Room 302-A, Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building, 14th & Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20250. The appeal must be received by that office within 45 days of the date of this letter. The phrase “FOIA Appeal” should be placed in capital letters on the front of the envelope containing the appeal.
