This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton over the past 5 years.
Any final reports generated and delivered by Booz Allen Hamilton to the agency over the past 5 years
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request below. We received your request on the same day and assigned it case number 13-F-0570.
After carefully review your request, we have determined that your FOIA request is not reasonably described to facilitate processing at this time. The FOIA requires federal agencies to provide reasonably described records that contain information that is responsive to a FOIA request. See 5 U.S.C. ยง 552(a) (3) (A) (i). The FOIA does not require agencies to explain records, answer questions, or conduct research. See NLRB v. Sears Roebuck & Co., 421 U.S. 132, 162 (1975); Zemansky v. EPA, 767 F.2d 569, 574 (9th Cir. 1985).
As you may or may not know, there is no central FOIA processing point for the entire Department of Defense (DoD) and each of the military services and various DoD components process their own FOIA requests. This Office, for example, is responsible for processing FOIA requests for records maintained by the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff (OSD/JS). You have not identified specific contracts that are associated with this office. Therefore, I am unable to process your request at this time.
Additionally, there are hundreds, if not thousands of contracts and contract related material associated with "Booz Allen Hamilton" throughout the DoD. And as stated above, you will need to submit your request directly to the DoD component(s) FOIA office that has purview over such information. You may wish to visit the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) website which is the current central repository of information on Federal contracting. Their web address is at: https://www.fpds.gov/fpdsng_cms/. You can perform a search of their website for "Booz Allen Hamilton" material and the results will provide you with a list of contracts and the agencies responsible for those contracts.

I'm asking for these full contracts, as well as final reports generated as a response to these contracts. This is a finite, reasonably described request.
