This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All records on, about, mentioning, or concerning Benazir Bhutto (June 21, 1953 – December 27, 2007). Her death was widely reported. See for example: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7161590.stm.
Please limit this search to documents created from January 1, 2001 to the day this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

The Statutory Compliance and Research Division Center mailed out a response letter dated 4/7/2016 to you and stating that you have not reasonably described the records you seek in a way that someone familiar with Department of State records and programs could locate them(e.g. Example if Visa records we need the issued or denied dates and year with a timeframe is needed also. (e.g. Example January 2016 to the present). Please use your assigned case control number for all future references.

This is with regard to F-2016-01963. In a response from the Statutory Compliance and Research Division Center dated 4/7/2016 I was asked to reasonably describe the records sought. I replied on 4/14/2016 doing just that, clarifying my request to the following:
A copy of all memos from the US embassy in Pakistan related to Benazir Bhutto's policy on Afghanistan and the Taliban. You may restrict your search to records from January 1, 1996 to November 1, 1996.
A copy of all memos from the US embassy in Pakistan related to the dismissal of Benazir Bhutto's second government in November 1996. You may restrict your search to records from November 1, 1996 to December 31, 1996.
