Ashli Babbit military records

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The Official Military Personnel File for Ashli E. Babbitt, an Air Force veteran from San Diego, California. According to NPR (https://www.npr.org/sections/congress-electoral-college-tally-live-updates/2021/01/07/954446008/authorities-identify-woman-killed-by-police-during-u-s-capitol-rioting), Babbit's last rank was Senior Airman (E-4). She served on active duty from 2004 to 2008, in the reserves from 2008 to 2010, and in the Air National Guard from 2010 to 2016. Babbit is now deceased.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. I also request expedited processing. The records I am requesting are urgently needed by a member of the press primarily engaged in disseminating information to inform the public about actual or perceived government activity — namely, the extent of training and service background of a former military service member who was engaged in an insurrection against the United States. The news value of these records will be lost without expedited processing.
