This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the arrest log for the duration of the 2013 Burning Man Festival in the Black Rock Desert, from August 26, 2013 to September 2, 2013, to include the following information at minimum:
1) Full name of the arrested adult;
2) Home address of the arrested adult, unless doing so would identify a crime victim;
3) Year of birth of the arrested adult;
4) Charge or charges;
5) Date of the arrest;
6) Time of the arrest;
7) Gender of the arrested adult;
8) Race of the arrested adult
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Lasser,
We have received your FOIA request. The request has been assigned EFTS #
BLM-2014-00799 and Nevada tracking number NV-2014-078. Please cite either
number in any future communications with our office regarding your request.
You requested a fee waiver. As a matter of policy, the Department of the
Interior does not bill requesters for FOIA fees incurred in processing
requests when their fees do not exceed $50.00, because the cost of
collection would be greater than the fee collected. See 43 C.F.R. ยง
2.49(a)(1). We do not estimate fees will be incurred for processing this
request, therefore, we are not evaluating your request for a fee waiver at
this time. If at any point fees are incurred, we will stop processing the
request and inform you of the estimated fees and the fee waiver status.
Your request falls into the Normal Processing track. We expect to have this
request completed by the due date of 9/22/14. We will inform you if there
will be a delay.
