This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
April 2011 CMC Monthly report.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

On 3 Jun 2011, I sent you an interim letter apprising that we had initiated a search for the responsive document. A copy of that letter is attached FYI.

Dear Mr. Smathers,
This refers to the subject request, and
responds to your status inquiry. During our
processing of this request, we have retrieved
the April Monthly report from the agency Staff
office and distributed it to the appropriate
Divisions for their review and release determination
for each Divisional input for the month of April.
What we have learned was that the April
Monthly report that was provided to our office
was in fact a duplicate of an earlier month. I am
not sure which month, but I understand it is before
March. Some Divisions have provided what they submitted for April 2011, and comments regarding their releasability, but others did not and were confused.
For clarity, we went back to the official
maintaining this record and requested that they
review the contents of the report and provide
the appropriate document for staffing.
We regret any inconveniences this delay
may have caused you while we ensure that the
material is accurate.
Currently, we are awaiting the correct report information from that office.
