This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
The most recent backup of the database containing the Animal Care Information System made before 11:00 a.m. EST on Feb. 3, 2017, and all associated assets — including, but not limited to, inspection reports, regulatory correspondence, enforcement records (including enforcement records that have not received final adjudication), research facility annual reports, lists of licensees and registrants under the Animal Welfare Act, and lists of designated qualified persons licensed by USDA-certified horse industry organizations.
In the event that the Animal Care Information System was not contained in a database, I request the raw HTML files, and all associated assets as described above. In the event that a backup made before 11:00 a.m. EST on Feb. 3, 2017, is not available, I request the current database as of the date your office processes this request. In the event that the database containing the Animal Care Information System and all associated assets is not segregable from a larger database, I request that larger database in its entirety.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

The public search tool was restored to our website later in 2017 and I wanted to make sure you were all aware of that. It is available at :
