The agenda and minutes for any meeting of Amtrak's Board of Directors that occurred during the month of March 2022.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Lowery,

Thank you for your letter dated September 22, 2022 and for sending me the Board of Directors Meeting Minutes for the month of March 2022.

Upon inspection of the zipped folder I see that the agendas for the two March 2022 meetings were not provided as I requested.

With this message I ask that you please provide me with the agendas for these two meetings, as I originally requested.

I would also ask that you please explain why this particular FOIA request has been classified as a Commercial Use Request, considering that in my original request I had asked that it be classified as a non-commercial request, and that all of my previous requests have been classified as non-commercial or a request from the news media.

request refers to a request from or on behalf of a person who seeks information for a use or purpose that
furthers his or her commercial trade, or profit interests, including furthering those interests through litigation.
(See Amtrak FOIA Regulations 49 CFR 701.11). Requesters in this category are charged $38 per hour for
search and review time and 25 cents per page for reproduction of records. Please provide Amtrak with a
written commitment that your company agrees to pay all fees associated with processing this request.
